FRUITS-BERRIES-NUTS / KIWI
(Actinidia arguta), female, late season Russian var., name means "pineapple-like," hardy kiwi with vigorous-growing vine, begins bearing at 3-4 years, bears heavily, 1-1.25" long, cylindrical fruit, smooth skin, green with a rosy-bronze blush, this good-flavored, reliable bearer is a good choice, most fruits tend to ripen at nearly the same time. It seems to me this would be a sturdy rootstock to graft others onto.
