Striped Togo

Solanum aethiopicum, stout, upright bush 30-36" tall, green leaves & stems, tiny white flowers borne in clusters of 5-11, followed by small fruit that are ovoid, light green with darker longitudinal striping, stay firm when cooked and have an interesting flavor, but may have traces of bitterness, bitterness increases with fruit age so harvest young (when about 1-1.25" long), becoming bright reddish-orange with faint striping when ripe, had 40-50 per plant even on fairly poor soil, I saw these plants grow much larger on Heritage Farm, SSE Eggplant 70, 2021 seed,
