Purple

Also known as saltbush or Red Mountain Spinach, this is a very old cultivated plant that has recently attracted attention as a superfood alternative to spinach, kale and chard. Orach has purple lance-shaped leaves that made a tasty addition to your salad mixes or can be cooked like spinach. The leaves can also be used for "stuffing" or making attractive food parcels.
