Joyce Fetterly's Red and White

Gorgeous dark red and white seed, irregular division line with a few small red speckles on some, 1/2x3/8x1/4", in short fat pods 3.5-4.5", leathery when dry. 55 seeds/oz. In 2014 (good bean year) 12 plants produced 440 seeds (8 oz) and in other years did very poorly. Said to retain color when cooked and to be tasty snap or dry. Very popular at local seed swaps. 20 seeds from 2021. 85% 4-year germination.
