Accession #119152. Donated to SSE by Mary Ann Olteanu (Wilmington VT 1999) whose father brought the variety to the US from Romania. Light green pods turn yellow early. Long broad pods, slightly curved. Weak string. Mature pods have purple blush and dark purple stripes. White flowers. 6-7 seeds per pod, oval seeds mostly purple with a patch of white long the keel. Good as dry beans. Late to produce, very tall vines. Beautiful dry bean as well.
