Premus

Vegetables / The Tomato Family (Solanaceae) / Tomato

This is a variety introduced by Deborah Premus. It was gifted in 1993 in Moscow by a Russian Biologist without its original name. Premus is an ultra-early super-determinate, 14 - 16 inches tall, with rugose leaves and a rigid stem. It has a very good balanced flavor. It is consistently our earliest tomato ripening by July 4 in zone 6. Container-friendly, cool weather tolerant, and productive. Can be direct sown and mass-planted with little or no staking with 12 inch spacing. Multi-purpose, 2 1/2" red fruits ripen over an extended period.
