NOTE: Only available Jan through Mar. Ships Mar/Apr. Smooth, clear, waxy skin is yellow with a red-pink blush. Crisp, juicy, mildly subacid flesh; much firmer than either parent. Flavor less sweet than Golden Delicious; less sprightly than Albemarle Pippin. Quality comparable to Albemarle Pippin. Does not ripen to maximum quality and flavor unless held in cold storage until late January. Excellent for sauce and pies. Heavily productive tree.
