Fruit roundish oblong to ovate-conical, medium to large in size. Skin: smooth, dull green turning to yellowish green, often blushed with faint red. Flesh greenish to yellowish white, breaking, very tender, fine, very juicy, mild to rich, aromatic sweet/subacid. Good dessert apple. Medium to late in season. Named for Micheal Henry, a resident of Monmouth, New Jersey who brought this variety to notice; first described in 1803 SSE Accession # 100442 NCGR-Geneva
