Blue Pearmain type. Fruit large, roundish oblate, slightly irregular and angular, surface greenish yellow, heavily splashed and shaded with carmine with considerable bloom; dots many, greenish yellow and russet, distinct; flesh greenish to yellowish white, with traces of pink, firm, juicy, mild subacid, good. Ripens November to late winter. Excellent keeper. Tree strong grower; hardy to -50 F. Originated in Bethel, Vermont. SSE Accession # 100653 Charles Estep, Sr.
