SWEET
Very early maturing, white sweet corn. Kernels are blue at seed maturity. Fair flavor, medium sweetness. A little grassy and vegetative tasting. Flavor is best after kernels develop a light blue blush. Relatively tender. Ears are very small, measuring 3-5 inches long, 1-1.5 inches wide. 8 kernel rows. White cobs. Plants are tiny, reaching 3-4 feet tall. Plants start tasseling in late June at Heritage Farm. 4-5 tillers per plant. 6-8 ears per plant. Ears are born very close to the ground. Green stems.
