Mohawk Indian Wampan

Kernels blue, purple, or yellowish white, 3/8 inch wide, of one color or mixed colors on the same ear. Ears about 7" long and 1.5" in diameter. Plants 5-6' tall, of uniform size, each with 1-3 ears. Grown by Zach Losko in 2021 for the Collection Documentation Project; he rated the variety as "very good." This variety was donated to SSE by Lydia Rolerson (ME RO L) who stated it's from the Indigenous people of the Mohawk River Valley in New York. SSE Accession # 108228 ME RO L
