Floury to flint corn. Most ears have both medium sized yellow and white kernels. A few ears have entirely yellow kernels. 5-10% have candy striping that is faint while others are dark. Some ears have only one or a few kernels with conspicuous candy striping and no apparent striping on any of the other kernels. Ears have a regular kernel arrangement and most commonly 12-16 kernel rows. Some ears have considerably more rows with as many as 22. Ear shape is variable, but more are cylindrical-conical with some tending to be more cylindrical and others more conical. Ears 3-7" long and 1.5-1.85" wide. Pendant leaves with moderate surface area. Purple stems with no tillering. 60% of plants lodged and several plants susceptible to fusarium when grown in 2014 at Heritage Farm. Donated to SSE by Lydia Rolerson of The Dharma Farm.
