Rayado

“Rayado” means 'striped' or 'lined' and it's notable that this pepper has lots of fine cracks in its skin, making I look like it is marked with fine lines, sold in markets in Mexico, smoked and dried for use in salsa, this pepper is renowned for this usage. Plants are vigorous. Early, abundant production. Jalapeño type from the hill country of Puebla, Hidalgo and Veracruz in Mexico.
