C. annuum. Dark red triangular fruit. Ancho pod type. Moderate heat without a sharp burn. Average sweetness and flavor. Quite crunchy and juicy. Thick skin, relatively thin walls. Glossy, semi-wrinkled skin. Uniform size and shape. Fruit measure 4-5" long, 2-3" wide, and weigh 1.5-3oz. Green immature fruit. White flowers. Plants are erect with some branching and measure 3' tall. Dark green ovate leaves. Late season maturity. Moderately low productivity when grown on Heritage Farm in 2018. SSE Accession # 116552
