Potomac, Black Seeded

Given to SSE in 1996 by lister Chris Inhulsen (GA IN C). Inhulsen got his seeds from Southern Exposure Seed Exchange (CV So1), who claim that this variety dates from the Virginia side of the Potomac river prior to 1860 and was taken west to California by the Barley family after the Civil War.
