Turkey Craw

Pole. 6 to 7 feet. Good as snap or dry. Vigorous plant and very productive. Pods are 4 to 6 inches long, 4 - 7 beans per pod. Seeds are medium small, light cream at one end and light brown on the other with colors fading into each other in the middle, with brown ring around hilum. Heirloom bean from Virginia, North Carolina, and Tennessee. Name is said to be derived from a hunter that found the beans in the craw of a turkey. Pack contains 25 seeds.
