Beautiful, large, bicolor beefsteak. Fruit is primarily dark yellow/orange with dark pink blush radiating from blossom end. Yellow flesh with dark pink color at blossom end center fading to a lighter pink. Exceptional balance of sweet and acidic flavors, very juicy, meaty texture. Fruit weigh 1-1.5lb and measure 4-5" wide. 1 fruit per infructescence. Mid season maturity. Large, indeterminate plants. Brix 6.5. This variety was donated to SSE in 2016 by Gary Staley (FL ST G, Donor and Seed Source) of Brandon, Florida. A 'Deweese Streaked' variety was introduced to the SSE yearbook by Jim and Cyndde Deweese (OH DE J, Original Source) in 1982. The variety was listed under the name 'Variegated' and said of it "late season, very large yellow tomato streaked with red…got our start locally with no history known but suspect this tomato to be the same as Hillbilly, grown in north central Ohio for many years". As of 2021, 'Deweese Streaked' has been listed for 33 years, 1986-2021. SSE Accession # 130810
