Russian Huge

Dark red, round roots. Sizeable, but not as big as we had expected. Roots 4-9ozs. Some variability in root shape. Flesh color ranges from deep purple to a lighter magenta. Faint rings. Very earthy, strong flavor. Long, semi-upright leaves. Purple petioles and midribs, green leaves. Brix 8. From Perm, Russia. SSE Accession # 106341
