Organic Listing
Indeterimate. Potato leaf. Golden orange-yellow 1 lb+ beefsteak slicer. Creamy texture and excellent, intense flavor a little more tart than most yellow varieties. Plants are a little finicky, but easier/better producers for me than Pink Brandywine. 'Yellow Brandywine' was sent to author and tomato authority Craig LeHoullier in 1991 by Barbara Lund of Ohio. She reported that she had received the variety from Charles Knoy of Indiana. Craig subsequently provided samples to Rob Johnston, owner of Johnny's Select Seeds, and that is how the variety became available to the gardening public. Resistant to Early Blight, and Fulvia Blight. 76-90 days from transplant.
