Donated to SSE in 1996 by Mark Futterman (CA FU M), who received this variety in 1995 from Antoine d'Avignon (QUE DA A, also a member of Seeds of Diversity Canada), who stated it was originally grown for many generations by the Fortin Family in Cap St Ignace, Ct.
