Steve Strickler's (Indiana) description: "80 days, indet., potato leaf foliage, good yield of orange-red beefsteaks, 300 g average, excel. taste my selection of a Yellow Brandywine cross" Another site says he crossed Glickler's strain of a yellow Brandywine variant with a red potato-leaf beefsteak fruit. Vine up to 54", fruits variable in size: 5x3 W x2" H 290g, or 3 x 2 1/2" 160g, or 2 1/2 x 2". Very nice taste. In 2019 ripened Aug 30 (95 days) to Sept. 30 with low yield (13 fruits on 2 plants). In 2020 ripened Sept. 9 to Oct. 5, 5 fruits per vine. In hot 2022 ripened Aug 26 to Oct 11 in my sunniest spot, about 10 fruits. Steve said it does much better with more than six hours sun. 2025 seed.
