Shish Kabob red

60-70 days This is a chance cross between Weisnicht's Ukrainian and Matt's Wild Cherry. The leaf is primarily regular, but much larger and not as fine as Matt's Wild Cherry. The fruit is red with a reddish pink gel sack and is approximately inch diameter. The fruit is sweet with a more complex flavor that is very clean when fresh. They are excellent for sauces, dried and for shish kabobs. I have been growing these for several years so they are fairly stable. I also have a pink version that are larger and would send these as well if interested, although the flavor is not as good.
