Perfection

Market mature fruit are 6.5-8" long, 1.5-2" in diameter, and 3-8 oz long. They are green at the stem end, fading to pale green at the blossom end. They have black spines on elvated warts. Due to disease during the 2021 growout at Heritage Farm, the fruit are mottled with yellow and have a pimpled surface. This also affect productivity negatively. The fruit have a good flavor and texture, crisp and juicy with some sweetness and no bitterness. The seed mature fruit are orange in color and measure 10.5-11.5" long, 2.5" in diameter, and 9 oz.
