VEGETABLES / JERUSALEM-ARTICHOKE-SUNCHOKE
Grows very tall (about 14 ft.) under my growing conditions and is subject to lodging. Blooms near the end of growing season. According to Will Bonsall it was developed in Russia and produces tubers close to the base of the plant reducing its invasion into other parts of the garden unlike other J. artichokes that do tend to spread. It has fairly large tubers that are some what lumpy or very lumpywith purple skin and white flesh. Obtained from former SSE listing member Will Bonsall in 2016.. Must Reoffer. See my profile for more details.
