Lithuanian Crested Pink

Large, pink, oxheart tomato. Indeterminate growth habit. Fruit retain moderate green shoulder at maturity. Deeply recessed stem end. Fruit commonly fasciated. Slight to moderate radial cracking on some fruit. Born singly or in clusters of up to seven. Fruit do not hold well on the vine and must be picked soon after ripening. Standard leaves. Highly inserted flowers. Ripe fruit reach 2.7-4.3" long by 3.4-5.0" wide and weigh 0.4-1.4 lbs. Subtle flavor. Not sweet. Low acid. Soft, meaty texture. Thin skin. Late maturing. Low productivity when grown in 2013 at Heritage Farm. Acquired by SSE from Seeds of Diversity Canada; originally from an elderly Lithuanian woman. SSE Accession # 125071
