Six Week Peas

Vines have strong climbing tendency. Non-pigmented plants and pods. Flowers have white standard and light pink wings. Straight pods, partially to fully erect, average 6.8" long by 0.4" wide. 11-16 seeds per pod. Cream-colored, ovoid seeds with brown hilum. Dry cowpeas have standard flavor and hold their shape well during cooking. Standard productivity. Mid-season maturing. Donated to SSE by Edward & Susan Crawford who obtained the variety from an 87 year old gardener who planted this variety on the full moon in May. SSE Accession # 108825
