Early Wonder Dark Strain

Mild flavor. Medium sized dark purple roots, are slightly variable in shape from round to broad elliptic. Purple flesh with thin white rings in cross section. Roots measure 1.7-3.0" long, 2.2-3.0" in diameter and weigh 3-7oz. Semi-smooth skin. Market mature roots in early July. Upright, shiny, green leaves have dark purple petioles and veins.
