C. annuum. Hot, de Arbol type pepper. Fruit small and elongate maturing from pale green to orange-red. Plants erect, tall, dense branching 26-33" tall. Leaves and stems green with purple coloring at nodes. Intermediate pubescence on stems and sparse on leaves. Flowers white with exserted stigmas. Mature fruit 2-3" long, 0.25-0.5" wide, and less than 0.25 oz. Intermediate productivity, lodging, and early to mid-season maturing when grown in 2014 at Heritage Farm. Fruit is very spicy and hot. Placenta is very hot. Subtle flavor due to high amount of heat. Not for the faint of heart. Donated to SSE by John Hartman (IN HA J) who obtained it from Donald Van Dunk (GA VA D). Van Dunk received the variety in 1986 from the Georgia Dept. of Agriculture. SSE Accession # 116600
