Pimento, Amish

Sweet Pepper. Fruits flattened, ribbed, deep red when ripe, 1.75" tall and 3" wide, pendulous, their flesh 1/8 to 1/4" thick. Plants 29" tall and 14" wide, with 3-4 stems, not especially productive. Flowers white. Grown by Gene Forster in 2021; he described the flavor as "typical of sweet peppers, but not as sweet as red bell peppers." SSE Accession # 117344
