Quail Grass

Celosia sp. Ornamental. Attractive foliage and flowers. Tall flower stalks (reaching 4-5') capped by small, bright pink, conical inflorescences. Late to flower but has a long bloom time. Leaves green with dark purple blotches on lower leaves. Broad basal leaves; lanceolate leaves on flower stalks. Erect growth habit. Donated to SSE by Suzanne Ashworth (CA AS S). SSE Accession # 100077
