C. annuum. Ornamental type. Smaller elongate/triangular shape fruit are erect on the plants and mature from pale green to purple to red. Fruit measure 1.3-1.8 inches long, 0.5-0.75 inches wide, and weigh less than 1 ounce. Plants have dense branching and small green ovate leaves. Plants measure up to 18 inches. Very nice ornamental. Fruit are spicy, but not recommended for eating. SSE Accession # 117325
