George Brewton Short Stubby Burgundy

Plants 2-3' tall. Burgundy and green pods are short, squat, and curved. Downy pods with 6-9 prickly ridges. Green leaves with red veins. Petioles are red near leaf attachment and green below. No lodging. High mucosity and low sweetness. Plants showed strong foliar disease symptoms that did not affect pod set. Very productive when grown in 2023 at Heritage Farm. SSE Accession # 114107
