Market mature fruit is short and straight with superficial ribbing, dark green glossy skin with pale green stripes, very dense white spines. Market mature fruit avgs 5.25" long, 1.8" wide, 5.8oz. Seed mature fruit is yellow, avgs 6" long, 2.5" wide. Fruit bitter when small, excellent texture and good flavor. Best for pickling at 5.5" long, 1.5" wide SSE Accession # 109192
