Pride of Iowa

A handsome watermelon. Green rind with dark green stripes and speckling. Oblong in shape with some slight variability. Superficial longitudinal grooves. Pink flesh. Excellent flavor and texture. Sweet, crisp, and juicy. Tan/brown seeds. Brix score: 11.0. Fruit reach 8-13" long; 8-11" wide; and weigh 10-20lbs. Medium-thick rind (0.5-0.7" wide). Mid-season maturing.
