Pimento, Red Ruffled

Red, slightly ruffled, flattened pimento pepper. 1.5" long, 2" wide. Great flavor. No heat. Quite sweet. Nice crunchy texture. Thick walls. Productive plants bear erect fruit that ripen from dark green to bright red. Mid-season maturing. Plants 2-2.5'. Capsicum annuum. SSE Accession # 117428
