SSE received this variety circa 1996 from Exchange lister Jim Tjepkema (MN TJ J) of Clarks Grove, Minnesota. Jim obtained it from a farmers market in Butan, Bulgaria and said the peppers are shaped like a donkey's ear. They can be dried on strings for winter use. Soak the whole peppers to reconstitute, then fill with various fillings and bake.
