Bianca Ovale

Round, white fruit, borne singly. Fruit develop mature seeds quickly. Difficult to tell when market mature; best harvested when small (size of an egg). Intensely bitter with thick skin. Few prickles on fruit pedicel and calyx. Market fruit 2-3" long, 1.5-3" wide, and 1-5oz. Seed mature fruit yellow; 1.6-3.6" long, 1.7-3" wide, and 4-9oz. Non-pigmented plants. Purple flowers. Plants suffered from bacterial wilt in 2014 growout at Heritage Farm. SSE Accession # 109509
