Serrano

Small, red, bullet-shaped fruit on compact plants. Fruit are shorter than the classic serrano (1-1.5 inches) but still have the bright red, smooth, glossy skin. Fruit ripen from green>red. Fruit have thick walls with a soft-ish texture. Tough skin. Very seedy. Good, sweet, fruity flavor. Medium-high heat. Great for hot sauce. Plants have dark green, fuzzy leaves. There is some genetic variation in this variety in terms of growth habit and flowering. Some plants grow more erect and have a more extended bloom time. However, fruit are uniform.
