Moderately to highly pungent. C. baccatum. Fruit ripen from pale green to red. Fruit are roughly the size and shape of a peanut shell but have a pointed end. Corrugated shape. Semi-wrinkled skin. Thin flesh. Fruit are erect to horizontal on the plants. Fruit measure 2-3" long and ~0.8" wide. Green, densely branched plants grow 2-2.5' tall. Highly productive when grown in 2015 at Heritage Farm. Mid-season maturing. Donated to SSE by Philip Hoffman (RI HO P) who acquired this variety through an NGA Seed Swap. SSE Accession # 117137
