Good evergreen perennial; source of isocitric & succinic acids; used as a compress for wounds, hemorroids, eczema, nipple soreness (from over-nursing) or as a substitute for Aloe for burns; pure juice used for ear drops (to treat ear infection); gargle of diluted juice for stomatitis; for menstrual cramps or diarrhea a cold infusion can be drank according to the PDR for Herbal Medicines.
