Long, dark green, uniform glossy fruit. Fruit are a mix of straight and curved. Likely a parthenocarpic variety (able to form fruit without pollination). Few white spines on small bumps. Ribbing absent. Market mature fruit 9-13" long and 1.6-2.3" wide. Very good texture; standard flavor; juicy, crunchy, slightly sweet; thin skin. Yellow seed mature fruit, 13-15" long and 2.5-2.7" wide. Late maturing. Donated to SSE by Marcy Frantom (LA FR M) who received the variety from Alpha Brewton of Winn Parish, LA. Frantom described it as a cross of Straight Eight x unknown early burpless variety that was made by Alpha's uncle, Horace Boyett, in the 1940s. SSE Accession # 109439
