Black Spanish, Round

Grown as a winter radish in mild climates, it will go readily to seed in late spring and produce a cloud of radish pods on stalks 3-5 feet tall. The pods can be harvested and eaten when green and tender. Pods add a mild radish zing in salads, and take well to pickling. Can also be grown for roots as other radishes, with harvest in 30-40 days.
