Tigre

Tigre - 60 /80 snap/dry, tasty but fibrous unless quite young. 18" sturdy bush or sometimes short vine dies after bearing even if kept picked. Nice flavor though stringy. Seeds.4" light pinkish maroon with darker maroon stripes, 3"/16 round pod mostly green with some purple streaks, dark pink flower. Also a half runner variant (same pods and seeds). Did especially well in cool wet 2017, ripening before a wet August and September rotted other seeds. Small crop in 2018 drought, bigger one in 2019 and 2020 with watering. 25 seeds from 2020 or 2022 100% germination of 3 year seed. There is also a pure pink cutshort variety as shown in the photo (2020)
