Large cloves are arrayed in a single layer around the scape. Bulbs skins are streaked with violet. Clove skins have a rich rose-brown color, hence its name. 4-6 cloves per bulb. Tall plants with long leaves. Produces a thick, coiled scape. Stores well. Robust flavor.
