Green Thumb

If you are looking for a small attractive green colored amaranth, this may be the one. Small, but attractive plants only 1.5-2.5 feet tall. Plants entirely green including leaves, stems, and petioles. Green inflorescences are dense and erect. Black seeded. This variety came to SSE (probably in the late 1980s) from the British seed company, Thompson & Morgan (CV Tho), which also produced a catalog for its American audience. SSE Accession # 100046
