Pole habit dry bean. Delicious and sweet as a dry bean but also has good flavor as a shelling bean. Strongly climbing plants have white flowers and dark green leaves. Pods are bright green, straight, and constricted, maturing to yellow. Fully expanded pods measure 2.6-3.7" long and 0.5-0.9" wide. Pods contain 4 seeds. Medium, round, white seeds with purple/brown Anasazi type pattern. Late maturing and moderate productivity when grown in 2017 at Heritage Farm. This variety has been listed in the SSE Yearbook Exchange by Deborah Watson (MA WA D) every year from 1991-2017. She originally received this variety in 1990 from SSE member Robert Wood (KS WO R) and donated it to SSE in 2015. SSE Accession # 132854
