Beefsteak, Watermelon

Plants indeterminate 6.6' tall with regular leaf type. Flowers with exserted stigmas. Round pink irregular shaped fruits 3.5" in diameter and 2.5" high. Fruit up to 2 lbs. Moderate blossom scarring and concentric cracking. Donated to SSE in the early 1980s by Mrs. Jewel Poston John (MO PO J) who indicated this variety was once available from Gleckler Seedsmen.
