If you like super sweet, sugary beets, this is might be the one for you. Large white sugar beet very similar to Pancar (Beet 66). 6.5-9.75 inches long, 1.5-4 inches wide, 8-25 oz. Large elliptic to triangular shaped roots are white bicolor with a green shoulder, very smooth skin, a medium depth root grooves. Slight pink coloring occurs on skin, but flesh is white throughout. Leaves light green with yellowish-green leaves. Rated highest for sweetness and smooth texture in 2015 Seed Savers taste evaluation. BRIX score: 15.5.
