Picksy Stripe (T-5)

Stuffing tomato. Dwarf plants produce red and orange streaked fruits with hollow locules. Fruits are slightly flattened with strong ribbing. Ripe fruit measure 1.6-2.0" long, 2-2.8" wide, and weigh 2.25-4oz. Dense, lush foliage showed no signs of disease in 2023. Mild flavor and moderate juiciness. High vigor and productivity in 2023 at Heritage Farm. Early maturing. Donated to SSE by Tom Wagner of Tater-Mater Seeds. Tom started breeding plants in the late 1950s on his parents farm when he was 13 years old. This variety was one of his first breeding attempts and named as a way of saying “You will want to pick it.” SSE Accession # 122022
