Very large, pink beefsteak. Slightly flattened to flattened fruit. Cat-facing at blossom end is common. Deeply recessed stem end. Persistent green shoulders at maturity. Moderate to severe radial cracking. A few fruit with blossom end rot in 2015. 1-3 fruit per cluster. Fruit measure 3-3.5" long; 3.6-5" wide; and weigh 1-2lbs. Dark reddish-pink flesh. Brix score: 4.8. Indeterminate. Regular leaves. Highly exserted flower stigma. Low productivity when grown in 2015 at Heritage Farm. Mid-season maturing. Donated to SSE by Jim Kohl (IA KO J) who introduced this variety into the 1992 SSE Exchange. Kohl received it from a coworker named Mikes who got the variety from Alice Hines of Orion, IL. At that time, Alice had grown the variety for at least 20 years; this variety is reportedly from Belgium. SSE Accession # 124021
